- Prices vary depending on the complexity of a project or the time required to prepare and deliver a program.
- For basic onsite training programs and instructor-led virtual sessions, you can determine the price of a course by referencing the charts in this guide.
- I've set executive coaching fees based on the length and format of the engagement. You will find baseline pricing for onsite training sessions and webinars on this page.
- I price keynotes and meeting facilitation by the event, and consulting projects by project stage.
- Transparency is a cornerstone of my business approach. I will always tell you how I calculate what I charge if you are interested.
Onsite Training Pricing Schedule Notes
- Onsite training is training delivered to a private group or association event at their location. Courses are priced per group, not per person.
- Fees charged for onsite training do not include facilities, audiovisual, registration, continuing education credit management, or catering services.
- All prices are quoted in United States dollars.
- Prices quoted on the chart are for training delivered in the continental United States.
- For Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, USVI, Guam, and Canada, the cost is the daily rate plus $1,800. For all other locations, please contact me.
On rare occasions, I will quote fees inclusive of travel expenses. For venues within a 4-hour driving distance from St George, Utah, my fees include travel by car or shuttle.
Where travel is not included in the fee, please plan on a travel allowance of approximately $750-$1250 for programs lasting up to one day. For longer programs, add an additional $250 per day. If you have hotel room or flight comps for your event that you want me to use in conjunction with travel to your event, please let me know up front. My home airport is SGU (St George, Utah) which is served by UA, AA and DL.
Per doctor's orders after 3 episodes of DVT, I fly domestic first or international business class for all flight segments longer than 2-1/2 hours. If that's not acceptable, you are welcome to travel to my location, instead. I have training facilities nearby that easily accommodate groups from 6-125 participants and full spa/resort accommodations and catering at two locations with 4-star and 5 star ratings.

Answers to Frequent Questions About Onsite, Webinars, and Remote Training Programs
My half-day programs run three hours (e.g. 9 am – 12 pm) and my full-day courses seven (e.g. 9 am – 4 pm). I will work with your scheduling requirements to determine the exact timing for your program.
Only in the rarest of circumstances will I accommodate this request. Experience has taught me that longer days do not equal more effective training sessions.
Over the years, I have learned what size group works best for each of the courses I offer. If you have a large group, please call me so I can learn more about your training needs and the make up, roles and responsibilities and training objectives of your group.
On a case-by-case basis, I will work with onsite training assignments for groups larger than those for which I have listed prices.
No. I charge you the full-day rate for the total number of people in attendance.
Forcing a two-day course into a half-day time slot reduces the likelihood that the program will meet the training objectives I've promised. That said, please contact me to discuss which of the objectives appealed to your group the most and your timeline. I may be able to modify a course or develop a new course to fit your exact needs.
First, that you book a confirmed date and pay your deposit and final balance on time. If you want me to use your travel agency or a stay at a specific hotel, please let me know.
I tend to send training clients a PDF and a one-time license to print and use the file for you to duplicate for your group.
You provide the venue, audiovisual equipment, catering, printing, and registration and check-in personnel. When I teach interactive sessions, I prefer seating configurations in a U-Shape or Hollow Square to facilitate team interaction and problem solving. I also ask that you provide me with flipchart paper, easels, and markers. Your assigned event coordinator from my staff will work with you to confirm the specifics of your session.
For groups the sizes I've quoted, I rarely need a microphone or podium.
I am happy to recommend a resource if asked, but I never sell products during classroom time or during breaks. If you would like to order copies of one of my books for your event, I canput you in touch with my publisher and they may extend a 40% courtesy discount on a special order. I cannot promise what they will or won't do. I am only the author. My contract with the publisher does not permit me to sell books independent of them.
Yes, but class space is limited and certain courses are offered only 2-3 times each year. The majority of my training engagements are onsite.
You are welcome to form your own group comprising members from different organizations. However, I cannot make this request of my clients. The reason they book onsite training is to keep their issues and discussions relevant to their training objectives and private.
Usually. Your training coordinator and I will work with you to determine your course agenda.
Please contact me about custom course crafting. I will always try to do this for you at the lowest possible cost. To make that happen I need you to be very specific about your training requirements and learning objectives.
I design the bulk of my courses from the ground up. Occasionally, I will use external resources (e.g., a payer contract that the client would like to use for training purposes) to supplement my course materials.
No. For me to sell my course materials independent of my presentation requires a "Work for Hire" engagement agreement. Please call me to discuss what you have in mind.
As with any professional service firm, I rarely run "specials" or discount my services. For less expensive options, consider my remote prsentation webinars.
I can’t comment on why others charge less or charge more. I can only tell you I am highly experienced and command fees beyond those paid to beginners.
Yes. If you schedule and pay for multiple courses in advance, I offer a 5% discount.
I offer my government clients competitive rates and I am happy to reply to your RFQ, RFP or market research inquiry.
Usually. My goal is to maintain relationships with my clients. Please contact me and be prepared to send me the written quote or correspondence to refresh my memory.
No. The fees shown on the pricing chart are for one time, licensed, course delivery. They do not cover content ownership. Without prior permission, it is not okay to hire me for the purpose of videotaping or otherwise copying my work. Please ask about multiple presentation discounts for refresher training and new hires.

What are the technology requirements?
For optimal results, each participant needs a computer with a high-speed internet connection and speakers. Ideally, those computers will also have a microphone and webcam. For groups located in the same office, I find the experience works best when people are in the same room, using one group login an overhead projector or screen and are on camera together.
I do not have a group. May I join a scheduled session?
As with my onsite training programs, I cannot ask my clients to open their sessions to people from other organizations.
Will I receive a certificate?
After successfully completing a course assessment and full program attendance, an instructor-signed certificate of attendance is issued. Certificates of attendance indicate the course hours, title and instructor's name and date. Certificates are not the same as a "certification".
I conduct coaching programs either virtually or in a combined format of in-person and virtual meetings. Pricing depends on the format you choose and the length of the program.
Executive retreats, strategic-planning meetings, and gatherings to address contracting, branding and other strategic and tactical training often require a skilled facilitator to craft a framework and guide discussions. Please contact me to determine rates and availability.
I have presented hundreds of international featured keynote addresses to engage, entertain, and educate groups. Keynote presentations range from 45 minutes to an hour but a properly prepared keynote session that informs, educates and entertains takes hours to research and prepare for each group and each event. Please contact me for a cost estimate and availability.
Often, leading healthcare, airline and destination brands are thrilled to have the opportunity to sponsor my keynote presentations as a sponsorship option. They agree to underwrite my speaker fee and travel costs in exchange for brand visibility. I'm happy to acknowledge their generous support during my keynote address and tastefully place their logo on my slides.
Don't overlook or underestimate this excellent way to make my fees and travel requirements more affordable for your upcoming event. But please.... don't wait until the last minute to start asking sponsors for support.
Sometimes clients have needs not addressed by training, coaching, facilitation, or keynote speaking. For those clients, I offer a broad range of consulting services. Fees for consulting depend entirely on the complexity of the project and are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please call to discuss your needs and objectives.
